Voters in Missouri approved Proposition A, a ballot initiative that will increase the state minimum wage rate in phases over the next 13 months.
- On January 1, 2025, the minimum wage will increase to $13.75 per hour.
- On January 1, 2026, the minimum wage will increase to $15.00 per hour.
Starting January 1, 2027, adjustments to the minimum wage will occur based on changes in the Consumer Price Index.
Tipped employees must earn a cash wage of at least 50% of the state rate.
