Under House Bill 4890, employers with 25+ employees in the Commonwealth are required to disclose the pay range for a position in job ads or postings. It is slated to go into effect on July 31, 2025.
Employers with 100+ employees must also begin reporting certain data to the state, beginning February 1, 2025. They are required to submit a copy of the federal EEO-1 data for the prior year on an annual basis, providing it to the state secretary.
